I ran my first ever OCR race in an open heat of a Spartan Sprint in 2016. About half way through the 2017 season I started to race at the elite level and managed to take home eight podium finishes that year. I was a member on the Spartan Select team in 2018 and in 2019 I started working with FitLincMedia and got my first sponsor, Endurelite. Looking forward to pushing my limits to remain a top contender in the Spartan Stadium Series this upcoming season!
Short (3-5 miles / 5k-8k)
Spartan Sprint in Barre, Massachusetts - A couple of my friends and I thought it would be fun!
I've always loved pushing my mind and body to their limits. I come from a soccer background and grew up with 8 male cousins where everything and anything would turn into competition. Competing at the elite level in OCR is a way for me to bring that competitive edge to the next level.
Sweden!
I could probably eat more pasta in one sitting than all of you...(see what I mean about everything being a competition?)
I play on a competitive co-ed indoor soccer team year round so without OCR thats probably all that I'd still be doing!
Short and fast courses are my favorite because it is a constant battle for a top spot throughout the entire race which doesn't leave much room for error!
ROMWOD, epson salt baths, elevate CBD cream on the sore muscles and joints, lots of food and of course sleep!
Run your own race, meaning don't worry about how any one else is doing during the race, just focus on you. Keep a positive attitude throughout the course, and most importantly HAVE FUN with it!
